In February 2010, the class of TRN151: “Global Governance of the International Relations stream in the Margaret MacMillan Trinity One Programme at Trinity College in the University of Toronto will be traveling to Brussels, Bruges and The Hague with their professor, Thomas Kwasi Tieku, to examine the roles of international institutions in both regional and global governance.

The class will be visiting the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), European Council, European Parliament and the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.  While in Bruges, the class will be visiting the United Nations University – Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS).  During their trip to The Hague in the Netherlands, the class will be visiting the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
